I love making these small pots because sunflowers are just happy flowers! This pot was handmade using coil and pinch techniques and finished in a sea foam blue glaze. The interior of the pot is clear glazed and there are 4 air holes on the rear of the pot. It measures 10.5cm to the top of the knob and the opening is 5 3/4cm wide. The pot fits 2 small/medium bulbs of garlic.
The reason that I enjoy making by hand is that each piece is unique. It retains marks and impressions made during construction, giving the owner a meaningful connection to the maker and the knowledge that the item they are using was happily made by another person.
This piece was made by Tim. They are not suitable for microwave or dishwasher use.
