A lovely jug for flower buds or small stems. This piece has been hand pinched from stoneware clay and finished in a delightful green glaze that shows off the different coloured flecks in the clay.
A flower frog sits inside the top edge to hold the stems in place and upright.
The jug measures approximately 8cm in height and 7cm across the top.
Due to the method of making, this piece retains the marks and impressions made by my hands during construction, giving the owner a meaningful connection to the maker and a completely unique piece of pottery.
